The Hot-Truffle: the hot dog...with truffles!
Combining "comfort food" and truffle? It's possible! Forget the starred restaurant, truffles can be tasted here at home (and with your fingers!) in a French and truffled version of the American hot dog...but above all very gourmet! Prepare your "Hot-Truffe" in a few simple steps with Artisan de la Truffe.
Recipe for truffle hot dog
For 4 people

Cooking time : 10mn
Rest: none
Ingredients:
- 4 hot dog buns
- 4 smoked beef sausages or, failing that, Frankfurt sausages
- summer truffle ketchup Artisan de la Truffe
- mushroom & summer truffle sauce Artisan de la Truffe
- Dijon mustard
- fried onions
- fresh seasonal truffle shavings (optional)
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 180°.
- Cook the sausages (on the grill or in boiling water for the Frankfurters).
- Put the hot dog buns in the oven quickly to bring them to a crispy consistency.
- Garnish the bottom of the breads with truffle mushroom sauce. Then place the sausage on top. Finish with the truffle condiments and fresh truffle shavings. Enjoy immediately!
Chef's tip for preparing a homemade relish to spice up your Hot-Truffe even more:
Ingredients:
- 1 shallot
- 100g Malossol sweet and sour gherkins Astara
- 50ml white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon coriander seeds
- salt & pepper
Preparation:
- Finely chop shallots and gherkins.
- In a frying pan, put the sliced vegetables with the remaining ingredients.
- Leave to reduce for about 10 minutes until the liquid has evaporated, season and then cool.
