Our French-made taramas are crafted with the finest Icelandic-smoked cod roe, bread, vegetable oil and a dash of lemon juice. These delicious, colorful spreads come in a variety of flavors: tobiko wasabi, truffle, sea urchin coral, crab, white, caviar, Espelette pepper and pink tarama. Serve on tender blinis as an aperitif.
Astara salmon and trout roe are generous and naturally orange. Very creamy, they burst in the mouth and release a strong iodized taste. We love these seafood products as an aperitif on a cream blini or buttered toast, but also to enhance a slice of smoked salmon or a salad. Salmon roe is akin to caviar... but in red!
