It's best to open the packaging and take the salmon out a few minutes before serving. This is simply to allow it to warm up to room temperature (20°C). This allows the flavors to develop to the full.
For optimum flavor, avoid leaving the salmon in the open air and prepare it at the last minute.
Enjoy au naturel with a touch of heavy cream, or with blinis.
