Watercolour" style macaroons at Angelina
Do you love macaroons? Look no further! For Easter, Angelina is expressing its artistic sensibility through a new chocolate and macaroon work, "Aquarelle".
Christophe Appert, Head Pastry Chef of the house Angelina - directly inspired by the original decorations of the famous tea room on the rue de Rivoli - reveals his palette as a painter of French pastry. A beautiful - and very greedy! - tribute to Vincent Lorant-Heilbronn, author of the majestic frescoes that adorn the walls of the tea room.
This chocolate creation, made of 70% dark chocolate from the Ivory Coast and Sao Tomé, contains a tender almond and hazelnut praline centre that perfectly matches the range of delicious, soft macaroons. Two very realistic dark chocolate brushes crown this work.
"Watercolour" will delight young and old gourmets alike, depending on their preferences. Chocolate, pistachio, strawberry, vanilla or lemon: there is something for everyone!
