Smoked over beechwood using traditional methods, Maxim's salmon heart offers a delicately woody taste and melt-in-the-mouth texture. Salted with dry salt to preserve its purity, each bite reveals a natural, refined flavor.

How to enjoy it

Serve au naturel on tender Maxims de Paris blinis, or with a touch of Isigny cream and salmon roe for connoisseurs. It can also be cut into cubes for an elegant, gourmet aperitif. This small format makes it the perfect choice for a chic aperitif or an intimate tasting, and lends itself just as well to special occasions as to gourmet dinners on the go.

It's best to open the packaging and take the salmon out a few minutes before serving. This is simply to allow it to warm up to room temperature (20°C). This allows the flavors to develop to the full.
For optimum flavor, avoid leaving the salmon in the open air and prepare it at the last minute.
Enjoy as a 1 to 2 cm thick steak, au naturel, with a touch of heavy cream or served with blinis.

Sommelier's advice:
A brut "blanc de blanc" champagne is recommended. It can also be accompanied by a white Burgundy, such as Chablis, Mâcon or Meursault.
